Bruscola, wine and accomodation was born in the 70’s when grandpa Dante and grandma Torellina decided to take the step of starting an activity of their own and realising their dream and cultivating their own land after having been tenant farmers.

Bruscola still today is characterised by the familiar family complex where it is now managed by sons and grandchildren. Over the years they have specialised in two sectors. That of wine making with the production of Chianti Classico, barriqued wines and vin santo. Not forgetting Extra virgin olive oil. Then there is the accommodation which has been developed in the part of the old farmhouse.

To immerse oneself in the atmosphere of the Chianti area we have apartments as well as the opportunity to taste our products and also visit our ancient cellars.

Bruscola is immersed in the hills of Chianti Classico denomination only two miles from the town of San Casciano Val di Pesa and 17km from the center of Florence. The vineyards expand to 3 hectares surrounding the house and are cultivated for the most part with San Giovese, Cabernet, and Colorino grapes.

The olive trees. 1,200 trees are concentrated in 3 hectares interlaced with the vineyards. The name Bruscola derives from the name given to the basket weave container passed round the neck that used to be used at times when olive picking.

With the wealth of knowledge gathered over the generations the production of our wines and olive oil is stilled made using traditional vinification and natural methods.
